About

What is TFLbids?

On TFLbids.com (owned and operated by TFLstudios), you will find cars, SUVs, trucks, and motorcycles for auction, sold by both TFLstudios and private owners.

How does it work?

TFLbids works just like any standard auction site. The highest bidder at the close of an auction will purchase the vehicle for the final bid price. Some auctions have reserve prices that must be met before a vehicle is sold. Bidding is free!

How does auto-bidding work?

All of our auctions use our auto-bid feature.  When you place your bid, you are setting the maximum bid we will place on your behalf.  Enter the maximum you’re willing to pay for the vehicle.  Our system will bid for you, with the smallest amount possible every time, making sure you are always one step ahead of the other bidders.

If the reserve price has not been met and your max bid exceeds the set reserve price, we will bid the reserve amount on your behalf to ensure you have a chance to win the auction.

Why do I have to add a credit card to my account?

We require you to have a payment method saved to your account to place a bid. This ensures the legitimacy of all our users’ bids. You will not be charged unless you win an auction.

I won an auction. Now what?

Your saved credit card will automatically be charged 5% of the vehicle’s final sale price. Minimum buyer’s fee is $225 and the maximum buyer’s fee is $5,000.  All buyer’s fees are non-refundable.

We will then contact you within 24 hours to connect you with the vehicle’s seller. It is between the buyer and seller to finalize payment, documents, and the vehicle handoff.

For TFLowned Vehicles: The 5% credit card fee WILL be deducted from the vehicle’s final sale price. For example: if you win a vehicle for $10,000, your card will be charged $500. You would then owe $9,500 before taking possession of the vehicle. We accept wire transfers or cash.

For non-TFLowned Vehicles: The 5% credit card fee WILL NOT be deducted from the vehicle’s final sale price. The buyer is responsible for paying the 5% fee on top of the vehicle’s final sale price. For example: if you win a vehicle for $10,000, your card will be charged $500. You would then owe $10,000 before taking possession of the vehicle.

Buyers are expected to pay for the vehicle in full within a week of the auction ending.

Do you ship vehicles?

We do not ship or deliver any vehicles we have for sale. Auction winners are welcome to set up their own shipping arrangements to have the vehicle picked up where they are located.
